Lenses: As a totally Independent Optician, we are committed to giving you, our client, the best advice and lens options to ensure that you leave us with a pair of spectacles that exceed your expectations. We are not tied to specific manufacturers and can therefore supply you with the best lens for your needs, not what Head Office tells us to use! Examples of major suppliers include Nikon, Essilor, Seiko, Norville, Zeiss, Hoya and Rodenstock whilst smaller specialist companies provide us with fast and efficient lens cutting and repair services.
Zeiss
Carl Zeiss, a well-known German lens manufacturer, still leads the field in the manufacture of glass prescription lenses. If you require the thinnest possible lens, the Zeiss glass lenses are available in the highest refractive index of 1.9, therefore ensuring the best possible appearance for those with very high prescriptions. Their new iScription lens can considerably improve visual performance at night and help improve the safety of night driving.
Nikon
The name Nikon is synonymous with innovation and quality. Their unique SeeMax lens gives outstanding visual quality and cosmetic excellence whilst their Presio range of varifocals can include the combination of SeeMax design with twin surface technology.
