The raw material from which these frames are made is 80% Nickel/Silver around which a skin of 14 carat gold is bonded. They then receive a plating of 24 carat gold to give an even overall colour. The frames have been made at AlghaWorks London since 1932. Although often imitated, these traditional frames retain their reputation for quality.
