New Bespoke Eyewear launch from Roger Pope & Partners

The Queen’s Coronation Festival at Buckingham Palace saw the launch of a new, specially commissioned, piece of eyewear by the Royal Warrant Holder, Roger Pope & Partners.

To honour the 60th anniversary of The Queen’s Coronation, the London optician commissioned a piece of fine eyewear which celebrates the magnificent reign. Manufactured by hand, by master goldsmiths at Lindberg Eyewear, the frame is crafted from 18ct Greenlandic white gold, set with 60 delicate pink diamonds.

The clean lines of the frame, and rimless mounting of the lenses, allow all attention to focus on the superb setting of the fine stones.

"Embracing aspects of the Queen’s realm, the diamonds were sourced from the Argyle Diamond Mine in Western Australia. Extremely rare, pink diamonds comprise just 0.03% of the world diamond output. It is a mystery as to how the pink diamonds achieve their colour but is believed to relate to the extreme pressure beneath the earth’s surface," said Dispensing Optician, Roger Pope.
